Moore will be one of 12 players to compete for the international team, with golfers from Japan, South Korea, China, Colombia, Thailand and Hong Kong also earning a place in the squad.
The junior version of the biennial event was established in 2017. So far, the US team has won every edition.
Moore was one of 11 players selected, with the 12th to be awarded to the leading player on the WAGR list as of July 30 who is not otherwise qualified.
Moore’s selection ensures a New Zealand athlete will be involved in the event for a third year in succession after Joshua Bai was selected in 2022 and 2024. Jayden Ford was also selected in 2022.
It’s the latest accolade for the Kiwi golfer, who has had a breakout year in the professional ranks with a runner-up finish at the New Zealand PGA Championship in February. He won his maiden title on the Charles Tour at the 2025 Mount Open.
Last year, Moore was one of six selected to represent New Zealand at the 2025 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in Japan.
