Paterson and Green led the way in the opening practice, continuing to show strong outright speed in the #28 Porsche Cayman.
Completing 29 laps, Paterson set the fastest time of 1:13.8420s in the early running.
In stark contrast, the second place Cameron McLeod/Mason Harvey Ford Mustang set its fastest time on its penultimate lap, just 0.120s behind the leaders.
McLeod/Harvey were the lead car in the Silver Cup, sandwiched between a pair of Silver-Am entries.
Despite a spin through the grass on the run to Turn 6, Lachlan Evennett/Andrew Torti rounded out the top three to be the fastest Toyota Supra, ahead of the #48 Audi of Stewart/Purdie.
Porsches bookended the top five with solo driver Jensen Shearer in fifth spot, 0.5s behind the leader.

The #27 Multispares Racing Mustang of Aaron Cameron/Lochie Dalton was sixth fastest, ahead of the reigning champion #25 McLaren of Tom Hayman/Jett Murray.
Rounding out the top 10 was Daniel Frougas/Chris White (#9 Toyota), Josh Thomas/Jarrod Keyte (#21 Mustang), and Matt McCutcheon/Tony Quinn (#101 Toyota).
Gomersall Motorsport’s Glenn Walker was the lead Am Cup competitor in 17th position outright, three positions clear of the nearest class rival.
Stewart and Purdie hit back to top the second and final session, setting a 1:13.7870s.
Shearer narrowly missed out, slotting into second spot just 0.0470s behind the leader, continuing his recent run of speed.
Cameron/Dalton hit back to be the lead Ford Mustang in third position, while Evennett/Torti took fourth spot to be the lead Silver-Am entry, with less than 0.1s covering the top four.
McLeod/Harvey rounded out the top five in the #227 Mustang, just 0.1s off the lead time.
Walker once again led the way in the Am Cup to be 12th outright, less than 0.5s off the leaders.
After setting the pace in the earlier session, Paterson and Green struggled for outright speed in Practice 2, managing only 16th fastest.
Monochrome GT4 Australia returns for a pair of back-to-back qualifying sessions on Saturday at 11:05am AEST.
