Former AFL coach explains why James Hird is the ‘right person’ for Essendon

Former AFL coach and current Port Melbourne senior coach Brendan McCartney joined 3AW Football and was asked about his time working with James Hird.

He explains why Hird would be great for the Bombers and highlights the key strengths he would bring to the struggling club.
