Boys tennis falls to No. 1 Lexington

The CCHS boys tennis team’s 2026 season ended with a 5-0 loss to top-seeded Lexington in the third round of the MIAA Division 1 state tournament on June 4.

Team record: Overall 9-6, Dual County League 7-4
Big day: Facing the top-ranked team in the tournament, CCHS took three matches the distance to three sets, showcasing grit and resilience across the lineup.
Game changer: Brooks Miller and Mack Rottenberg entertained the crowd with a thrilling match at first doubles. The duo came out firing, capturing the opening set with aggressive, confident play. They continued to battle throughout the match but ultimately fell to a strong opponent in three hard-fought sets.
Unsung hero: Jack McClelland battled hard at third singles, dropping the first set before rallying to win the second in a tiebreaker and push the match to a decisive third set. At second doubles, Jack Garofalo and Austin Fischl split the first two sets, giving their opponents a tough challenge before falling in three sets.
CCHS boys lacrosse season ends in playoff loss to Andover

The Concord-Carlisle boys lacrosse team fell behind early and saw its MIAA Division 1 playoff run end in a 16-4 loss to No. 3-seeded Andover on June 3.
Team record: Overall 11-8.
Big game: James Reynolds scored three of the Patriots’ goals. The team generated multiple scoring opportunities but collectively hit the pipe four times and had others shots turned away by the Andover goalie.
Unsung hero: Tyler Shepard tallied a goal and was instrumental in winning numerous loose balls that gave CCHS its opportunities on the offensive end.
