We may still be waiting for Liverpool to kick into gear where the transfer window is concerned but they have at least added to their operation today.
Liverpool have announced the appointment of Hannah Pym as their new senior vice president for marketing and digital, which is quite the grand title, I must say.
The role sees Hannah take on responsibility for leading Liverpool FC’s marketing, media, product, technology, fan services and experience teams as well as further strengthening the club’s global marketing and commercial growth ambitions.
Speaking about her appointment, Hannah said: “It’s a huge honour to join Liverpool Football Club, one of the most iconic and recognised brands in world sport.
“I’m incredibly excited to lead the talented teams across the club’s marketing and digital functions, and the opportunity to contribute to the next chapter of this great club’s growth and innovation is something truly special. I can’t wait to get started.”
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Hannah to LFC at such an important time for the club’s continued growth. Her experience across marketing, media, digital and technology makes her an outstanding addition to our leadership team.
“Hannah will play a key role in leading the teams who are driving forward our ambitious plans for growth across the club, while continuing to innovate across our marketing, media and digital platforms.”
It’s an exciting time be joining a club who boasted revenues that most recently exceeded £700m.
Good luck to Hannah in her new role.
