Ruben Amorim now has three Premier League clubs keeping close tabs on one of his first-team players at Old Trafford amid a potential summer swoop, according to reports.
The 40-year-old Manchester United manager has been preparing for pre-season after his first-team Red Devils players reported to Carrington for training this month.
Ruben Amorim and United have been out of action since the end of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign and the two-match post-season tour of Asia in May.
The Red Devils are set to return to action on Saturday with the start of their pre-season tour, with United heading to Sweden to face Leeds United in a friendly tie.
United will then resume their pre-season campaign in the United States and will cross paths with Premier League sides West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton.
Amorim and Co will end their preparations for the 2025-26 Premier League season with their final match of the tour at Old Trafford against Fiorentina in August.

Alejandro Garnacho is expected to be left out of the pre-season tour after the Manchester United winger’s relationship with Ruben Amorim splintered last season.
The 21-year-old Spain-born attacker is tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer and Alejandro Garnacho is now seen as surplus to requirements for United boss Amorim.
Garnacho was critical of Amorim’s decision not to start him in Bilbao for United’s 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Premier League side Tottenham in May.
Amorim sent Garnacho a ruthless message about his Red Devils future after Spurs defeated United in the Europa League encounter at the San Mames Stadium.
According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea and Tottenham are both believed to be ‘monitoring’ the situation around wantaway United winger Garnacho this summer.
The newspaper added that Aston Villa have also ‘registered their interest’ in landing the Argentina international after he was frozen out of Amorim’s plans at United.
Alejandro Garnacho has attracted other transfer interest and the Man Utd ace still needs to ‘lock in’ his next destination
Alejandro Garnacho is under contract with United until 2028 and the Red Devils are holding out for a whopping £70m price tag for the Chelsea-linked winger.
United would benefit from the transfer of Garnacho through the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) due to him coming through the youth academy.
However, United could be forced to lower their asking price due to their desire to offload Garnacho after his public falling out with Amorim in the 2024-25 season.
The Daily Mail reports that Napoli were linked with Garnacho back in January and Atletico Madrid have shown an interest in their former youth academy product.
