Xiaomi has started to move out of beta testing for its Android 15 reskin, with a stable firmware update rolling out to testers outside of China using the Xiaomi 14.

According to STechguide, this 120+MB-sized update still uses the first HyperOS interface. It is not the updated HyperOS 2 interface on the Xiaomi 15 series designed for the Chinese market. Users outside of China can try Xiaomi’s Android 15 update via HyperOS 1.1’s interface instead.

The publication also added that the stable Android 15 release isn’t rolled out instantly to all global devices. It is first going to Xiaomi Mi Pilot users for self-enrolled beta testers who want to try out Xiaomi’s experimental software updates. The publication showed a few samples of its firmware in Russian.

Despite being only available to beta testers for now, STechguide said that the Android 15 version is a stable one because it has removed the “beta” tag in its firmware’s build name.
