The Goonies star Corey Feldman has thanked fans for their concerns and well-wishes after his health emergency on a flight from Chicago to LA.
The ’80s teen star was rushed to hospital on Monday (Tuesday AEST) after being met at the gate by paramedics.

He began feeling ill on the plane and was looked over by a passenger on-board who happened to be a doctor but the professional was unclear what the issue was.
Doctors ruled out gallstones and eventually put the vegetarian’s symptoms down to severe food poisoning.
“[Great] news everybody I’m alive!!,” Feldman, 54, shared in a post on X.
“I’m out of the hospital & home on bed rest! Thank u all 4 the love & support! Seriously! I haven’t felt this loved in a long time!”

In an earlier post, while still in hospital, the actor admitted the incident “was def scary” but he was positive about being on the road to recovery.
“I think ill b ok, all signs look good as of now,” he told fans in a separate post.
He reminded fans he had a new single being released next week, What Am I Here 4, the announcement of which on Tuesday was overshadowed by news of his health scare.
Also not helping the situation was a misdiagnosis that had been leaked to the media.
“It was a big scare bcuz a dr misdiagnosed me & then some1 on the medical staff sent that misdiagnosis 2 the media in real time, based on the result of a preliminary blood test!” he wrote on Instagram.

“However it was only food poisoning thank god,” he clarified.
