CAMERON Hill has revealed that he too suffered a cool suit failure during the Darwin Triple Crown.
Hill’s problem came during the event finale yesterday, in which he soldiered on to finish ninth.
“Unfortunately, I had my cool suit freeze up and fail on me around Lap 7 or 8,” said the Canberran.
“So that was not ideal, but sort of knew that I was going to be able to get to the end if I just paced myself.
“It was nice to get a top 10 result. Looking forward to Townsville.”

Thomas Randle was ruled out of yesterday’s race after struggling through the entire Saturday contest without a functioning cool suit.
Brodie Kostecki also missed Race 19 after suffering from a mix of illness and dehydration.
Hill is now 15th in the championship.
It was a solid if unspectacular Darwin on the whole for Brad Jones Racing, which overtook the Blanchard Racing Team for seventh in the teams’ championship.
