As Coco Gauff awaits the draw for her opening match at Wimbledon, New Balance and Miu Miu have revealed the collaborative capsule she’ll wear for the Grand Slam.
The Miu Miu x Coco Gauff New Balance 530 SL sneaker will get a new deco leather build in two colorways to represent the footwear portion of the capsule. The sturdy leather upper is available in either white or brown, the former of which best displays a moderate amount of distressing. Both are equipped with a double set of laces in brown leather white cotton cord.
Apparel skews minimalist, predominantly in white with navy piping and a navy and red logo for Miu Miu and New Balance. A one-piece tennis dress tank top borrow from lingerie with scalloped edges along the necklines and seams, while a pleated skirt employs an open back and discreet splits to for ligthness and movement. A jacket and pant set then is then made out of Silk Tec, a lightweight fabric intended to provide protection and structure while remaining breathable and flexible, the assortment is capped off with a cap and headband.
To celebrate the new collection, Gauff will make an appearance Tuesday at an exclusive event at New Balance’s New Bond Street flagship in London.
The Coco Gauff x Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL in brown and white, as well as the rest of the collection, is out now on Miu Miu’s website. Pricing for the sneakers is set at $1,270.
