Construction of PsiQuantum’s billion-dollar supercomputer will finally start on Thursday, a year later than anticipated and at a new location in Brisbane that the company says has potential for expansion.
The quantum computing start-up has received almost $1 billion in federal and Queensland government funding to build what it says will be the world’s first fault-tolerant, utility-scale quantum computer, capable of solving complex scientific problems.
