Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is done for the day in this preseason game. He completed 8-of-10 passes for 76 yards and a 7-yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington. That was a nice bounce-back after Lawrence’s fumble on the game’s opening drive, which otherwise also saw solid production from the QB.

It’s a big year for Lawrence with first-year head coach Liam Coen.

As The Athletic’s Mike Sando revealed in this year’s QB Tiers ranking, Lawrence still has much to prove.

“He hasn’t proved that he can take the team up a level or make the team play better than they are,” a former GM told The Athletic. “I definitely think Liam Coen can help him if he is able to be helped.”
