Two private credit financiers fighting over a $140 million stake in Firmus Technologies have agreed to settle their legal dispute just days before the billion-dollar artificial intelligence start-up’s co-founder Oliver Curtis and other executives were scheduled to provide evidence in court.
Former business partners Ben Madsen and Simon Raftery had been at odds over a parcel of 1.1 million shares ahead of a blockbuster float that could value the company at $7 billion. Raftery had claimed one-third of the shares and alleged Madsen had wrongly transferred them to his brother.
