Perthonalities and foodies gathered beneath The Station in South Perth to celebrate the official opening of Bangla — Perth hospitality group Nokturnl’s bold new Asian dining experience.
Guests enjoyed an evening of roaming canapés, colourful cocktails, a live DJ and plenty of vibrant energy inspired by Asia’s greatest dining districts, as they experienced the city’s newest restaurant on Mends Street in full swing.
Nokturnl directors, Ross Drennan and Drew Flanagan welcomed guests alongside Bangla head chef Thanapat “Teddy” Rattichot and restaurant manager Lucy Markey raising a toast to the group’s fourth Asian dining concept.
Officially opening to the public last week, Bangla draws inspiration from the energy, flavour and sensory excitement of Asia’s iconic dining precincts, bringing bold share-style dining, vibrant cocktails and a little late-night mischief to South Perth.
It comes after fine dining restaurant Ludo closed in the space last month.
