Meanwhile, the travelling Giants (6-8, 100.3%) will without 2024 Coleman Medallist Jesse Hogan, who faces a major stint on the sidelines with a badly fractured finger. It sees Max Gruzewski recalled, alongside Harrison Oliver who replaced an injured Jayden Laverde.
“It’s hard to know where they are. They’re up and down, (and) their form’s all over the place because they just haven’t quite got the cattle out on the field,” three-time premiership player Cameron Mooney said of the Giants pre-game to Fox Footy’s AFL Tonight.
“It’s really tough, but you almost feel like this might be their last shot to make sure their season’s still alive. If they get absolutely nailed tonight, it’s going to be a long way back.”
