Panathinaikos Aktor Athens have reportedly reached an agreement with Brancou Badio, adding one of the EuroLeague’s breakout guards to their roster ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Greek champions have agreed to terms with the 27-year-old Senegalese guard following an impressive campaign with Valencia Basket. The move was first reported by Yannis Psarakis of Sportal.
Badio impressed throughout the EuroLeague season
Badio enjoyed the best season of his professional career during the 2025-26 campaign.
The athletic shooting guard became one of Valencia’s most reliable players on both ends of the floor, earning praise for his scoring ability, defensive intensity, and consistent performances in key games.

He finished the EuroLeague season averaging 11.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 36 percent from three-point range and knocking down two triples per contest.
Badio also played an important role in Valencia’s successful domestic campaign, helping the club capture the Liga Endesa title while contributing to its run to the EuroLeague Final Four.
Journey from Barcelona to EuroLeague contender
Badio’s path to one of Europe’s biggest clubs has been built through steady development.
The Senegalese guard began his professional career with FC Barcelona’s second team before continuing his development in Germany with Skyliners Frankfurt.
He later returned to Spain, where he spent time with BAXI Manresa before joining Valencia Basket.
It was with Valencia that Badio established himself as a high-level EuroLeague player.
Over two seasons with the Spanish club, he became an important member of the rotation, helping the team reach the EuroLeague Final Four while also lifting the Liga Endesa trophy.
