However, according to the UFC anti-doping program records updated on August 16 (Korea time), Conor McGregor was tested for banned drugs once in 2025. The difference is large compared to the 11th in 2024 and the 5th in 2023, but the player stressed that “it passed completely cleanly.”
UFC fighters must agree to an “out-of-game inspection” without prior notice six months before the match. Doping test subjects are obliged to submit location information. If it is a place where the player’s location is known, inspectors will visit not only the training site but also the house.
Conor McGregor is the least frequently tested since 2022, when he missed doping tests to recover his fracture and take therapeutic drugs, but it’s noteworthy that he is showing his willingness to continue as a fighter.
