Trinidad Chambliss was the talk of the town following the 2025 season, as he fought and ultimately earned a sixth(!) year of eligibility to play again in 2026 instead of entering the NFL Draft. The appeals process ended up in the Mississippi Supreme Court, where a judge overruled the NCAA’s decision.
This has played a major part in his draft stock, but where does he sit now? Let’s talk about it.

Trinidad Chambliss is going to be one of the most polarizing players in College Football this season. It will be hard to separate the player from the antics, as we will never know why he wanted to stay in college so badly, when he likely would have been a top-50 pick last season. It’s for that reason he is much lower on my board, as I would take him in the fifth round, and no earlier.
