Brisbane coach Michael Maguire insists he hasn’t lost the faith.
But it’s increasingly clear many Broncos fans have.
Following the reigning NRL premiers’ eighth consecutive loss, this time falling 28-16 to Cronulla, the club has copped an avalanche of ‘feedback’ on its offical social media accounts as disgruntled fans seek to vent their considerable frustrations at a perceived lack of effort from their team.
“Until the players turn up I won’t, stick ya season ticket. Complete waste of money,” posted one fan on X.

“You know, 38000 fans still show up, even after 7 losses in a row. If only the effort of players reflected that level of support,” lamented another fed up fan.
“What is going on at Red Hill?” summed up the overall mood perfectly.
The Broncos have lost their last five matches at their Suncorp Stadium fortress and haven’t tasted victory at home since defeating the Bulldogs way back in Round 8 in April.
After their latest loss the glamour club now sits third last on the NRL ladder, four wins outside the top eight.
While it’s still mathematically possible for Brisbane to make finals, with nine rounds to play it will take a not-so-minor miracle – not to mention a massive turnaround in form and attitude.
The Broncos have a bye next weekend before facing a full-strength Panthers side in Sydney in Round 20.
Another pathetic performance keep it up boys you’re gonna have no one sitting in the crowd
