Washington: US President Donald Trump says the show will go on this evening – no matter how late. It’s not clear how security will manage tens of thousands of people trying to get back into the National Mall – after a few drinks, in all likelihood – but he says it will happen.
“Storms bring luck to whatever the occasion. They also make events a little bit more exciting!” the president said on Truth Social.
“We will wait it out, I don’t care if it’s 2:00 O’Clock in the morning, or in one hour from now.
