Aussie actress Melissa George has secretly welcomed her fourth child at 49.
George, who kept her pregnancy under wraps, shared the news by posting a photo of her breastfeeding the newborn while in Paris.

In the photo, posted jointly with friend and former Vogue Australia Editor-in-Chief, Kirstie Clements, George cradled her baby who was snug in a cream knitted blanket.
“@melissageorgeofficial From the maternity ward, straight into a Parisian heatwave (with a toddler…challenging),” Clements captioned the post.
“And now to an epic road trip through Provence and the Cǒte d’Azur, first stop @hotelcrillonlebrave #superwoman #motheroffoursons! #roadtrip #provence,” she finished.
The baby’s name has not been revealed nor has George revealed the identity of his dad, who is also believed to be the father of her third child Lyor Gatsby Gene George, whom she welcomed in 2024.
George shares sons, Raphaël, 12, and Solal, 10, with her French ex-partner Jean-David Blanc. She has not publicly confirmed a new partner since.
Among the other photos shared in the post were snapshots of their travels around France.
One follower commented underneath, writing: “Melissa!!! 4? Brava!!!! Tell me everything!”
“She makes it look effortless,” another wrote underneath.
George rose to fame as Angel Parris on Home and Away in the 1990s. She went on to forge her a successful Hollywood career appearing in Grey’s Anatomy, The Slap and Triangle.
In March 2024, George welcomed her third child, Lyor Gatsby Gene George, announcing the birth on Instagram by sharing a sweet black and white picture of her baby son’s feet.

“Welcome to the world my little man. Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full,” she wrote in her post at the time.
She later confirmed his name in a separate Instagram post.
“Your first trip to Saint Tropez. My love, my everything, you complete my family. Raphael and Solal love you. #lyorgatsbygenegeorge #senequier,” she captioned the post.

Before that, the actress, who hails from Perth, confirmed her pregnancy with a lavish baby shower where she showed off her baby bump in a white T-shirt and cardigan.
She previously reflected on motherhood when speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald.
“Having children, for me, will go down in my life as the greatest, most victorious, thing I’ve ever done,” she said.
