Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, has encouraged her followers to embrace their scars with a topless photo marking two years since her spinal fusion surgery.
Apostel, 30, posed facing the wall, showing off a scar that takes up the length of her spine. The gallery also included an X-ray of her spine before and after the surgery.
“Two years ago today, I had my full spinal fusion. Never ever felt better and we love a cute scar. Just a [little] wear & tear,” she wrote in the caption.
Apostel suffered from scoliosis, which causes the spine to bend out of shape. The spinal fusion surgery uses a bone graft to join vertebrae in the spine to stabilise it and reduce pain.
The surgery can also involve placing screws and rods into the spine to strengthen the bones.
The musician shared the post while visiting Miami with the Beckham family for the FIFA World Cup. Apostel has been dating Cruz, 21, for over two years.
Last year, Apostel revealed that Cruz and her family helped her through “crazy psychological fear” she felt while on medication after the spinal fusion surgery.
“1 year ago today I had my scoliosis surgery so we’re celebrating with a big dress and an AI painting. Sitting here reflecting a little bit and weirdly I went into this day last year with zero fear,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time.
“I fully pranked my mind into thinking it was no big deal. The 2 weeks after that were absolute hell but I think what really kept me going was having something to go back to.”
“’I was determined to be back in the studio no more than 1 month to the day post-op. 25 days later, we were back. I would have never ever made it through those 2 weeks if I wasn’t surrounded by so much support and love.”

“’People go through far worse than this every day, and in times where you’re physically and mentally weak, you really realise what a crazy difference conversation and comfort can have on you.”
She went on to say in the weeks following the surgery she was in a mental battle with herself.
“I would call people crying because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to be as productive or [it was] some crazy psychological fear because the medication makes you weird and sensitive, especially if you’re already anxious,” she added.
Cruz and Apostel were brought together in 2024 by their mutual love of music.
She often gushes about Cruz, and has openly shared details about their relationship online, including what went down on their first date.

“Me and Cruz went to the studio and we sat in the studio until 3am, but he didn’t even kiss me, we were just sitting there,” Apostel said during a social media Q+A.
“I was nervous!” Beckham replied from off-camera.
Whether they count that or not, Apostel said she and Beckhammet again the following day.
“To be fair, we knew it felt different from other sessions,” she said. “Then the next day we went to a rooftop cinema with my friend Stella who third-wheeled us, and that was our first real date.”
The couple were first spotted together at Glastonbury in June 2024 and by September, they were photographed together throughout Paris Fashion Week.
