Reed did not play in Sunday’s California Classic Summer League game against the Warriors for rest purposes, according to Spurs reporter Matt Guzman of SI.com.
The No. 26 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Reed won’t be playing in back-to-backs early on as a precaution. However, he will likely play Monday against the Lakers. During his Summer League debut on July 3 against Miami, Reed had 10 points (3-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and one block.
