Now, “Notorious” can return the favor and ride theirs with new custom fight shorts available in the UFC store. Two versions were released ahead of the Irishman’s UFC 329 headliner against Max Holloway on Sat. night (July 11) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and the unofficial “money” version is currently the most popular among fans.
King Green will also get his own custom fight shorts ahead of UFC 329, where the longtime lightweight veteran throws hands with Terrance McKinney. I’m not in the business of wearing another man’s shorts but I would probably pick Green’s over green.
Those shorts will set you back $129.99 each.
“These authentic fight shorts are the exact model worn by Conor McGregor, made with flexible yet compressive fabric for freedom of movement and support,” according to the website description. “In designing this, McGregor combined elements that reflect his personal journey and Irish roots, incorporating a gorilla motif inspired by his gym, tiger stripes inspired by his tattoos, four Celtic four-leaf clovers representing his four children, a Celtic cross symbolizing his faith, and green, white, and orange accents drawn from the Irish flag. Together, these details create a distinctive expression of his heritage, values, and warrior spirit.”
“These authentic fight shorts are the exact model worn by King Green, made with flexible lightweight fabric and heat-glued side slits for freedom of movement. In designing this piece, Green drew inspiration from his upbringing in the Inland Empire and from personal influences that reflect his background and experiences. The paisley-based design brings together elements of his life story, tracing the path that led him to the Octagon.”
