Olympiacos Piraeus have officially announced the signing of Jean Montero on a three-year contract.

Olympiacos Piraeus have officially announced one of the biggest transfers of the EuroLeague offseason.

The club confirmed that star guard Jean Montero is joining Olympiacos on a three-year deal.

Dominican guard spent two years with Valencia and thoroughly impressed during his stint in Spain.

He became a key piece in achieving the club’s best-ever EuroLeague finish and securing Valencia’s second Liga Endesa title.

In the 75 games he played during the 2025-26 season, Jean averaged 15.2 points on 36.2% three-point shooting, 2.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals for an average performance index rating of 18.4.

Montero continued to add to his list of individual accolades by being selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team, being named EuroLeague Playoffs MVP and earning the EuroLeague Rising Star award.

In Liga Endesa, he was once again selected to the All-Liga Endesa First Team and was named MVP of the Finals Playoffs, which ended with Valencia Basket lifting its second acb championship title.
