Jojo Fifita has been given the green light to return from injury for this Saturday’s showdown against the Warriors at Cbus Super Stadium.
Missing last week after suffering a lateral ankle sprain against the Rabbitohs, the electric outside back will be a welcomed return alongside Brian Kelly who is also expected back from a mandatory 11-day contact stand-down after failing his head injury assessment in Round 23.
With the forward pack also bolstered by the return of Klese Haas, the Titans have lost Jaimin Jolliffe for the remainder of the season with a PCL injury; but in more positive news, Carter Gordon made a successful return in the Hostplus Cup after cerebrospinal fluid leak threatened to end the former Wallaby’s career.
Playing the opening 40 minutes in the halves, he is expected to line up for the Ipswich Jets again this weekend when they host the Sunshine Coast Falcons on Saturday.
David Fifita also underwent surgery last week on his ankle with the edge forward ruled out for the final three weeks of the season.
