For the first time since the 24 Hours of Le Mans last month, the FIA World Endurance Championship returns this weekend with the Six Hours of São Paulo.

Following a remarkable victory at Le Mans, the #7 Toyota crew enters the fourth round of the campaign leading the drivers’ standings, while the Japanese manufacturer also tops the manufacturers’ championship.

As a result, Toyota heads to Brazil on a high, with BMW also continuing to impress in second and third in the drivers’ standings. Ferrari endured a highly disappointing Le Mans, leaving it with significant ground to make up.

São Paulo was an emotional event last year as Cadillac secured its first overall victory in the WEC. Not only did it win, but the American manufacturer also claimed a stunning one-two finish.

With so many teams and manufacturers having a point to prove after Le Mans, São Paulo looks set to deliver a thriller, with the weather at Interlagos always unpredictable.
