TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Three Indonesian boxers are scheduled to compete in the 2026 Asian Boxing U19 and U23 Championships, which will take place at the GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Indonesian boxers Linda Sari Langi Maililin, Maria Meisita Manguntu, and M. Riko Prayogi will compete in the semifinals of the 2026 Asian Boxing U19 and U23 Championships, according to Asian Boxing.
Linda Sari Langi Maililin will face a Mongolian boxer in the Women’s Minimum (45-48kg) U23 weight class in round 14, which will begin at 12:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
If she wins this match, Linda will advance to the final, where she will face the winner of the match between Gulnaz Buribayeva and Yu Miyata.
Maria Meisita Manguntu will next compete in the Women’s Light Welterweight (65kg) U23 division against Uzbekistan’s Sevinch Khurramova in round 14.
Maria will certainly be aiming for a win in this bout to advance to the final, where she will face the winner of the match between Kajal and Gulzina Melsbek Kyzy.
In round 15, which begins at 6:00 PM WIB, M. Riko Prayogi will face Kyrgyzstan’s Temirlan Mukatayev in the Men’s Cruiserweight (85kg) U23 division.
Riko certainly won’t want to miss this opportunity to advance to the final, where he will face the winner of the semifinal between Mukhammadaziz Zakirov and Norbek Abdullaev.
