NEW YORK – For the 13th consecutive year, the Columbia men’s tennis team has been recognized as an NCAA Division I All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). In addition to the team recognition, 10 men’s tennis student-athletes were honored as Division I Scholar-Athletes.
As part of the 2025-26 squad, Nicolas Kotzen, Jordan Chang, Andrew Ena, Michael Zheng, Tristan Lee, Aditya Govila, Andrew Kotzen, Jung Hee You, Thanaphat Boosarawongse, and Sachin Palta all earned ITA Division I Scholar-Athlete distinction.
To be named to the ITA All-Academic Team, programs must maintain a team grade point average of 3.2 or above, with all current varsity athletes’ marks factored into the cumulative result. Scholar-athletes must possess a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the academic year.
In 2026, 1,008 Division I Men’s student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 162 men’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
