Police have seized a car while continuing their hunt for a driver who left a man to die in a Brisbane south hit-and-run.
The 20-year-old was struck by a vehicle on Middle Rd, Greenbank about 8.45pm on Monday.
He suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
Investigators are trying to identify all those involved in the fatal crash after the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Detectives have since seized a black Ford Falcon that had no registration plates.
Detective Inspector Ian Galpin said when police arrived they spoke with friends of the 20-year-old who immediately went to his aid, but he died shortly afterwards.
“Police would like to speak with the driver of a white Toyota LandCruiser and a dark-coloured utility, both of which were seen in the vicinity at the time of the accident,” Inspector Galpin said.
“I express our sympathies to the family and friends of the young man that passed away last night, it is a devastating incident particularly for those who witnessed the accident and for the broader Greenbank community.”
