STATESBORO – Georgia Southern women’s tennis was namd an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team honoree for the 10th straight year, while all seven Eagles earned individual ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, announced Moday by the organization.

ITA All-Academic Teams are awarded to Division I schools that maintain a 3.20 GPA or better for the entire year, while ITA Scholar-Athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA or better for the year. 

Georgia Southern women’s tennis carried a 3.77 GPA for the 2025-26 academic year, earning the All-Academic honor for the 11th straight year and 17th year overall.

Individually, the entire roster of seven Eagles earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors – senior Nanaka Kijima, junior Mackenzie Leopold and sophomores Franzi Heinemann, Angelina Mihajlovic, Lisen Rinman, Amelie Rosadoro and Evelyn Warkentin.
