Foxtel Plus and Platinum Plus customers have been advised of $5 a month increase from September.

Foxtel is raising subscription prices, just a week after $5.3b deal, with Nine, for NRL rights.

The Australian Financial Review reports Foxtel Plus and Platinum Plus customers have been advised of $5 a month increase from September.

Foxtel Plus is currently $78 a month on a 12-month plan, while Platinum Plus is being offered at $99 a month.

A Foxtel spokesperson said, “Like all businesses, we regularly review our pricing to ensure it continues to reflect the long-term investment in our products and content and this change was as a result of a review held in the first quarter this year.

“To continue bringing customers the world’s best sports and entertainment, while delivering great value through a premium customer experience, we are changing the price of Foxtel for a small percentage of premium package set-top box customers.

“We carefully consider any changes to pricing and continually invest to provide affordable access to 50 live sports and an incredible range of premium and fan-favourite TV shows, blockbuster movies and exclusive entertainment for our customers.”

Foxtel last increased prices in March 2025 for Platinum and Platinum with Netflix packages and Platinum Plus and Foxtel Plus with Netflix in September 2024.
