Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until the US ended what it described as its “acts of aggression”, while also warning it could block other regional oil and gas export routes.
Iranian state-run television IRIB reported that Iran’s army and the Revolutionary Guards carried out separate attacks on US targets in the region.
