After the annual spring rush of TV renewals and cancellations, the headlines have slowed down this summer, with July off to an especially sleepy start. The latest announcement is that Canadian drama Sullivan’s Crossing will officially return for Season 5 on The CW. Plus, Peacock’s Love Island: Beyond the Villa will be back for Season 3, and so will Prime Video’s Biblical drama House of David.
In glass-half-full news, Godfather of Harlem will get closure with a two-hour series finale on MGM+, and Paramount+’s international hit comedy Colin From Accounts will end after its upcoming third season. The month’s most abrupt cancellation is Prime Video’s It’s Not Like That, which has been canceled after one season.
