Ethos and Lifeforce join forces to combine life insurance with a platform designed to help people live healthier, longer lives.
US life insurance firm Ethos is set to integrate health optimization into its offerings through a new partnership with US longevity medicine platform Lifeforce. The collaboration will give policyholders access to biomarker testing, evidence-based health protocols and personalized coaching, alongside their insurance coverage.
The tie-up makes sense – life insurance companies should have an interest in safeguarding their members’ health and economic security over the long term. By weaving Lifeforce’s services into its insurance products, Ethos says its goal is to help its members understand their health status and make proactive changes that can improve long-term outcomes.
“At Ethos, we believe that protecting your family starts with protecting yourself,” said Ethos’ head of growth, Prassath Leelakrishnan. “Our partnership with Lifeforce gives our policyholders access to longevity care, making it as simple to prioritize your health as it is to plan your financial future.”
Leveraging a telehealth model, Lifeforce offers at-home diagnostic testing alongside physician consultations, tailored treatment plans and coaching designed to extend lifespan and healthspan. The company claims that its members have completed more than a million biomarker tests to date, with most seeing measurable improvements in health and quality of life within six months. Through the new partnership, Ethos policyholders will now be able to use a $250 credit toward Lifeforce’s diagnostic package.
Reflecting on the partnership with Ethos, Lifeforce CEO Dugal Bain-Kim told us: “It’s a natural fit, given the incentives and value propositions – helping people live better, longer lives. We see opportunity in collaborations that create more integrated experiences for managing both health and wealth, around a shared set of goals. It’s the next frontier for our industries.”
There are similarities between the two companies’ approach to their respective markets. Ethos has built its reputation on simplifying the insurance process with a fully digital platform that allows customers to apply online and receive decisions within minutes. Its model eliminates the need for medical exams, removing barriers that have traditionally slowed or prevented access to coverage.
“Health and wealth are converging,” said Bain-Kim. “Our partnership with Ethos enables people to take control of their long-term health with the same simplicity and ease that Ethos brings to life insurance. Together, we’re helping people protect what matters most: their future.”
