Jim Richards’ grandson Jett Blumeris making racing return in Northern Territory Excel enduro

JETT Blumeris, the grandson of Jim Richards, will make his return to racing this weekend.

After 10 months out of the saddle, Blumeris will team up with Matthew Totani to compete in the NT Excel Enduro at Hidden Valley.

The duo will share the #20 entry, as part of an 18-car field featuring Brad Jones Racing rising star Brad Vaughan and fellow Super2 driver Rossi Johnson.

Vaughan holds third in the Super2 standings and is expected to make his third Bathurst 1000 start later this year.

The Excel event will involve six sprint races and a 100-minute enduro.
