While the Kraken have had one of the best home and road jersey sets since they entered the league, we were all anticipating what they would do whenever they added an alternate sweater. When they unleashed their look inspired by the depths and horrors of the deep sea, we were all on board for it.
The black jersey with the Kraken logo in a sea-green outline (that also glows in the dark) is outstanding, and the gradient sea-green stripes on the sleeves, with the slashes of red striping, make it unnerving in a way, but fantastic nonetheless. It’s a unique style, and while not the first to use glow-in-the-dark technology (Vegas’ Reverse Retro jersey in 2022-2023 also featured it), it makes us think of the bioluminescent creatures of the deep, enough to make anyone feel uneasy and even more intrigued.
