Speaking pre-game on Fox Footy’s Super Saturday Live, dual premiership Kangaroo David King made a big call on Fraser’s chances of landing Carlton’s full-time role.
“(I) still reckon if he wins this, he’s the coach next year, Josh Fraser,” King declared.
“It’s a big challenge when you come up against Nick Daicos and co. … but this is a task he can achieve.”
Triple premiership Tiger Jack Riewoldt added: “This is the first time we’re seeing Carlton under Josh Fraser off a loss … I think it’s a big win for them that they’re coming up against an arch-rival.
“The fact is that they are the most emotionally-charged football club this season. I certainly can see them putting in a good performance tonight.”
