On the off chance that there were any Bold & Beautiful viewers left who didn’t get that the Forresters and Logans were being positioned as daytime’s Hatfields and McCoys, what happens the week of July 20 ought to erase any confusion. Read on, and we’ll go through the literal blow-by-blow as you watch the show’s new sneak-preview video.
First It’s a War of Words
The clip begins with Eric doing a TV interview as Katie and Hope watch from Logan HQ. The upstart fashion house “is trying to steal our thunder,” the GOAT insists. “It’s thievery.” Why Katie doesn’t just do an interview of her own in which she shows the world the contract Eric signed and check he cashed, we can’t imagine.

Later, we see Will warning someone, “Don’t speak about my mother that way.” But if it’s Brooke to whom he’s talking, he can forget it; negatively is the only way she speaks of Katie. In fact, rather than accept that she sparked the family feud by refusing to acknowledge that her sister had every right to use their surname, Brooke insists to Katie anew, “You wanted this war.”

Then It’s ‘Put Up Your Dukes’ Time
Elsewhere in the video, Will gets possessive of Electra once again — and just when we were hoping they were done! “You’re going nowhere with Electra,” Eric tells the young man. “To hell with that, old man,” Will replies. “I’ll do what I want.”

With that, R.J. enters the fray. “Who you calling old man?” he asks rhetorically. The confrontation gets physical between the boys, and the next thing we know, Eric’s sporting a shiner straight out of Road House and Katie is tearfully apologizing. Something tells us that the way the Forrester patriarch has been trashing his old friend lately, that “I’m sorry” is going to go over like the proverbial lead balloon!
