With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points, and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.
General Classification Standings after Stage 14The main change in the overall classification today is Tom Pidcock‘s position loss. After a successful breakaway the previous day, the Briton once again attempted to surprise, but this time around UAE Team Emirates – XRG had no intentions of letting the gap grow.
The Briton defended himself and finished amongst peers around 3:30 minutes behind today in Le Markstein, but naturally, he lost ground to his fellow podium candidates and dropped down to ninth place (only ahead of Lenny Martínez, out of those he overtook the previous day. However, 10th place Lenny Martínez has 7:30 minutes (the exact gap Pidcock won on the road on stage 13) advantage over 11th place Egan Bernal.
Tadej Pogacar rode to another solo win and has extended his gap to 4:30 minutes over Jonas Vingegaard. The Dane gained only a few seconds on Remco Evenepoel, who is now 5:04 minutes behind. 15 seconds behind is Paul Seixas, who moved up from Juan Ayuso’s position today, by a mere 3 seconds.
Florian Lipowitz sits at 5:44 and has Isaac del Toro a mere 6 seconds behind now. Mattias Skjelmose is 8th on GC, 7:35 minutes behind.

Not a stage for the sprinters, but the early intermediate sprint provided the sprinters with an opportunity to score points. Tim Merlier has not done this, bringing the fight down to three riders for the win. Jasper Philipsen closed the gap by 5 points to Mads Pedersen, but there are still 36 points separating the two, whilst Biniam Girmay is only 14 points behind Philipsen.

Tadej Pogacar remains in the lead of the KOM classification, a jersey he will continue not wearing, however. He has 52 points after stage 14, but there is a new jersey wearer. Jonas Vingegaard has scored a few points, and with today’s breakaway, Valentin Paret-Peintre and Richard Carapaz have gained points and truly entered the fight.
The two riders are set to be Pogacar’s main rivals at this Tour. Paret-Peintre has 43 points in the classification, and Carapaz has 38, but tomorrow could see an extension if Pogacar wins the summit finish to Plateau de Solaison.

The white jersey has changed hands. Paul Seixas has won a few seconds on Juan Ayuso on Le Markstein, but it was the bonus seconds at the finish line that made the difference. Seixas now has 3 seconds over Ayuso and is officially the leader of the youth classification. Both have lost time to Isaac del Toro on the day; however, he sits 31 seconds behind.

UAE Team Emirates – XRG has won two more minutes this Saturday to Lidl-Trek, reducing the gap further to 7:26 minutes. The gap continued to thin down as the race progressed.
