NRL fans can’t believe the carnage this weekend with Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic the latest star to leave the field after injuring his right hamstring in his side’s loss. Trbojevic got off to a bright start to the game against the Titans having scored a try after Jason Saab knocked the ball back to him.
The Titans struck back and the game looked like it was going to be a thriller before Trbojevic went down. Manly’s fullback attempted to catch a pass behind his body from Joey Walsh.

He fell over in the process as he changed directions. And he immediately signalled to the bench and left the field with his head in his hands.
Trbojevic was out for seven games this season with a left hamstring injury. Although the Fox Sports commentary team revealed it was his right hamstring that went this time in worrying scenes.
Though Manly claimed they were hoping it was a minor strain, which forced Trbojevic from the field. “That’s heartbreaking,” Michael Ennis said of Trbojevic on Fox Sports commentary.
‘NRL Physio’ Brien Seeney claimed this is the 9th hamstring injury Trbojevic has suffered in his career. Fans were quick to rally around Trbojevic who has struggled to remain on the field this season.
Carnage to NRL superstars in Round 20
Unfortunately, Trbojevic isn’t the only star to fail to finish a game. Canberra Raiders and NSW Blues second-rower Hudson Young appeared to rupture his Achilles tendon a day after Will Warbrick suffered the same injury.
Young left the field clutching at the back of his calf. The trainer immediately signalled to the bench and Young was helped from the field. And Young appears to be looking at a long recovery and will miss the World Cup for Australia.
have Unfortunately, been left Melbourne Storm winger Warbrick has played his last game for the club after he ruptured his Achilles tendon. Warbrick is off to the Warriors next year and was looking to help the Storm make a late push for the NRL finals.
However, his season is over after the Achilles injury. Warbrick would have been a shot at playing for New Zealand in the World Cup. The winger will now face a recovery in the pre-season as he joins his new club.
