UFC Oklahoma City went down last night (Sat., July 18, 2026) inside Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma streaming live online via Paramount+. In the main event of the evening, Driccus du Plessis defeated Kamaru Usman via unanimous decision after 25 minutes of back-and-forth action (recap here). In the co-main event, Christian Leroy Duncan defeated Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision.

Biggest Winner: Dricus du Plessis

“DDP” had perhaps the best performance of his career after dominating former Welterweight champion, Usman, for the majority of the 25 minutes. Once the scorecards were read, Usman had an issue with the unanimous scores, not so much the loss. Regardless, the judges got it right because du Plessis looked great on the feet and rocked “The Nigerian Nightmare” numerous times throughout the fight with his high kicks, of all things. The win is “Stillknocks’” first since coughing up his title to Khamzat Chimaev nearly a year ago. Currently ranked No. 2, du Plessis has definitely earned another shot at gold. The only thing that could delay his shot is if Chimaev gets his rematch against Sean Strickland, first.

Runners Up: Tommy McMillen and Christian Leroy Duncan

McMillen once again impressed with another vicious technical knockout (TKO) win, this time stopping Alberto Montes in the third round. He is now 2-0 inside the Octagon with two knockouts, improving his overall record to 11-0. “Gun” is on the fast track to stardom with the promotion, and UFC CEO, Dana White, reiterated how impressed he is with Sean O’ Malley’s protege during the post-fight presser. Not to mention, “Gun” earned a cool $100,000 post-fight bonus check for his efforts. The 28 year-old could not have asked for a better start to his UFC career. As for Duncan, he has won five straight fights after a dominant win over Jared Cannonier. “CLD” is now 7-1 in his last eight fights, which should be enough to put him in the Top 10, especially after such a convincing win over a former title contender like Cannonier.

Honorable Mention: Chase Hooper

Hooper earned a new lease on his combat life after snapping his two-fight losing streak by submitting Mitch Ramirez in the very first round via rear-naked choke (see it again here). It’s Hooper’s first win in over a year, and it could be one that gets him his confidence once again after back-to-back defeats at the hands of Alexander Hernandez and Lance Gibson Jr.

Biggest Losers: Kamaru Usman and Jared Cannonier

Usman suffered his fourth loss in last five outings after his UFC Middleweight debut didn’t go as planned after running into a motivated du Plessis. I’d like to give him a pass because he showed a ton of heart last night against the former champion after he was rocked several times, and he showed his toughness by surviving every time to make it all the way to the final bell. Still, his downfall continues and now he has a decision to make regarding staying put at 185 pounds or cutting back down to 170. Another one of the biggest losers of the night has to be Cannonier, who suffered his second straight loss after coming up short on the judges scorecards against Christian Leroy Duncan. Overall, “Killa Gorilla” is 1-4 in his last five outings, which could be enough to knock him out of the Top 15.
