Two crime scenes have been established in Perth’s south-east after a body was discovered and a teenage girl was found injured in a neighbouring street.
Police say they were called to an address in Bentley at 6:25am and found a person dead.

An injured person was then taken to hospital after being found nearby in Cannington.
St John’s confirmed a girl under the age of 15 was taken by ambulance to Perth Children’s Hospital.

Police said another person had been taken into custody.
“This is a contained incident and there are no ongoing concerns for public safety,” a police spokesperson said.
Traffic in the area was brought to a standstill, with Albany Highway closed north of the Westfield Carousel shopping centre.
The crime scene sits in a largely commercial area of the suburb, with businesses lining either side of the street.
Workers from nearby stores told the ABC they had spoken with authorities, with police attending businesses in search of CCTV footage of the incident.
Police are expected to hold a press conference about the incident at 11:30am.
