Zendaya has playfully addressed her marriage to Tom Holland after they wrapped up their press tour for The Odyssey, in which they both star.
The Hollywood power couple were in Mexico City for the premiere of another film they co-star in, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and while Zendaya was posing on the red carpet alone, a fan hit her with a personal question.
“Zendaya, will you marry me?” the fan called out.
The actress laughed and playfully replied, “It’s too late.”
Holland and Zendaya coordinated their red carpet outfits for the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man franchise, which is out in Australian cinemas on July 30.
Zendaya channelled her spidey senses in a black turtleneck dress with one half made from a black silk material, while the other half made from sheer black lace that shimmered in the light.
The former Disney Channel star styled her hair into an updo consisting of a micro fringe and swapped out the iridescent makeup look from her Odyssey red carpet appearances, to dramatic, black winged eyeliner and smoky eyeshadow.
Holland wore a black suit and pinned a white spider pendant to his black tie.
It comes after Holland also referenced their marriage while doing press for The Odyssey.
During an interview with the Dish podcast, he was asked which person he’d want to take on a trip to Greece.

“I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” he said. “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry, babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, their Odyssey co-star] actually.’”
Holland also went viral earlier in the Christopher Nolan film press run when he was questioned whether Athena, the character Zendaya plays, loved Odysseus, Damon’s character.
“No, because she’s married to me,” he said.
Elsewhere in The Odyssey press run, Zendaya faced heavy backlash for wearing ancient Iranian jewellery at a photocall in London.
The 29-year-old wore a pair of gold earrings created from Iranian artefacts dating back to 700BC.
Archaeologists were quick to criticise the use of precious and culturally significant artefacts as accessories in the promotion of a Hollywood film, claiming it was a “hijacking” of Iran’s contributions to humanity.
In June, Holland revealed he and Zendaya secretly tied the knot during an interview with British Vogue.
He didn’t share when the wedding happened but confirmed their families were there.
“That’s all you’ll get on that,” he confirmed.
