Parents are rejoicing over a cheap hack that solves a common and truly frustrating problem in the car.
Regardless of how much you’re willing to spend on a pram or stroller, no price tag can rid away the frustration of finishing a day out to find muddy tyres you’re going to need to smudge into the carpet of the boot.
Or so we thought – apparently there is a dollar amount, and it’s just $2.
A viral hack, shared by Big W, has gone viral and sparked a flurry of excitement from parents of toddlers and babies.
In the video, a shower cap doubles as the ultimate wheel guard when placed over the pram’s tyre.
It can then be folded down and placed into the boot of the car or other storage spaces.
Big W labelled the idea as “the pram hack every parent needs to know”.
“Saving your floors and your sanity one shower cap at a time,” the department store wrote on the post.
Parents were quick to flood the comment section with high praise.
“Such a simple way to save your car’s carpet! Genius,” one user commented.
Another wrote: “So smart! How have I never thought of this?”
“I genuinely need these,” a third said.
“After picking dog poop out of a pram wheel with a Bobby pin when we lived in an apartment, this is an insanely good idea,” another shared.
The hack seems to be transferable to other boot bound items such as a golf bag, luggage or beach wagons.
A spokesperson for Big W said they’re excited parents will find use out of the timesaving hack.

It’s not the first time parents have been left stunned by a trick for folding down prams.
Back in March, a pram folding stunt by a mum from the UK went viral online for it’s Olympic-level pack-down method.
Chelsea, a sales rep for a European pram brand Cybex, shared a clip of herself folding down a stroller, writing: “The coolest way to fold one of the tiniest cabin-approved strollers.”
The clip amassed millions of views from envious parents who wish the pram folding process was as easy as Chelsea made it look.
At first she lifts the stroller up into the air, before she clicks a button and brings it down to the floor in a compact position, ready to go into the car boot.
Of course, the comment section came equipped with follow-up questions.
“And in what circumstance would you do this in?” one user questioned.
Someone else asked, “So can you close it the normal way in case my turbo mode isn’t functioning that day?”
Another said, “Just a bunch of puffs and yoghurt melts falling into my eyes and mouth”.
“Hi! Should I take the baby out first?” one joked.
