The PNG Chiefs have set their sights on Cam Munster, with the Storm reportedly granting the superstar playmaker a window to speak with the NRL’s 19th franchise.

Munster, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, has been cleared by the Storm to discuss a potential deal with Chiefs brass.
Fox League’s Braith Anasta, who also acts as a player agent to several players including Munster, revealed to Code Sports that the Chiefs are interested.
Munster’s current deal runs until the end of next season, meaning he can negotiate with rival clubs on November 1, but the Storm are willing to let the rep star talk to the Chiefs before the free agency window opens.

“There is a level of interest from PNG,” Anasta told Code Sports.
“We have been in constant communication with Melbourne and Melbourne have the greatest of respect for Cam.
“We have had some dialogue with PNG but remain completely open to Cameron finishing his career at Melbourne.”
The Chiefs have already inked Jarome Luai and Alex Johnston to a deal while Zac Lomax is reportedly in talks with PNG as well.
