Thanasi Kokkinakis is out of the Cranbrook Tennis Classic, losing in the Round of 16 to fellow Australian Adam Walton 6-2, 3-6, 6(3)-7(7).
The Greek Aussie got off to a strong start, breaking Walton twice through the first set to make it 5-2 before serving out the set. Walton then did the same to him in the second.
In the third and final set which was much more tight, Kokkinakis could not capitalise on any break point he won with Walton breaking him immediately after on two occasions.
Walton then went on to win the last two games including the tiebreaker to take home the victory.
