FRISCO, Texas – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced the recipients of the 2205-26 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award for all divisions. Following another stellar year in the classroom, the NM State women’s golf team finished the year with a combined team GPA of 3.834 to rank 23rd in the nation among Division I programs.
The award recognizes the women’s collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA, which includes all the team’s student-athletes for the 2025-26 season. This also marks the fourth time in program history that the Aggies have garnered this award and serves as the first time since the 2018-19 season when they finished with a 3.720 to rank 16th in the country. Additionally, this represents the highest team GPA during the Danny Bowen era, surpassing their GPA in 2018-19.
Among Division I programs, Houston Christian finished with the top GPA as its eight players recorded a combined 3.947 GPA.
NM State was also one of three Conference USA programs among the top 25 as they were joined by Jacksonville State and Delaware. The complete list of top-25 programs for this award can be found below.
