NEIL Crompton is set to feature in the chief promo video for this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000.
Fans who’ve been left yearning for the dulcet tones of the long-time ‘voice of Supercars’ after his end-of-2025 departure from the broadcast team will get to enjoy his presence on Repco’s 2026 Bringin’ The Bathurst commercial.
Some cheeky communications from Repco today pointed to Crompton’s involvement.
“Well, I haven’t been sitting around asking, ‘What about me?’”, the Supercars Hall of Famer says defensively while appearing to drive an Uber shift. “All I can say is everything is for sale!”
Crompton has maintained a presence at Supercars race weekends in his capacity with Toyota, spending time in both the Brad Jones Racing and Walkinshaw TWG Racing garages.
There is intrigue around how the TV roster might look for the enduros, given that regulars James Courtney, Mark Winterbottom and Craig Lowndes will be tied up on co-driving duties.
Mark Skaife has been touted for a possible cameo return at Tailem Bend and Mount Panorama.
