Pamela Anderson might be hanging up her iconic red swimsuit for good after the actress made a surprise claim about the upcoming Baywatch reboot.
The 59-year-old, who played lifeguard C. J. Parker in the ’90s series, revealed she has “no plans of going back to Baywatch”, but said one reason may have convinced her otherwise.

“If my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them,” the star told Deadline when asked if she were at all curious about the reboot and C. J.’s life nearly 30 years on.
The Naked Gun star revealed the creators behind the highly anticipated reboot “were talking to [her] sons at some point about producing”, her sons being the two people who could have convinced Anderson to join the 2027 project.
“I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds. I’m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well,” she continued.
As for whether anyone reached out to Anderson directly, the star made the surprise claim: “No one’s reached out to me. I don’t know much about it.”
The actress shares two sons with ex-husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
Thirty-year-old son Brandon Thomas Lee is an actor and Emmy-nominated producer who served as an executive producer on his mum’s film The Last Showgirl, and starred in the 2017 Baywatch reboot movie.

Further in the interview, Anderson looked back fondly on her role in Baywatch for everything she learned and the “worldwide exposure”.
“Everything I’ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch,” she confirmed with the publication.
Instead, the actress wants to focus on what else is out there, admitting it’s now “now her time” to play with different characters.
